Joe Jonas recently gave fans a rare and heartwarming insight into his role as a father by sharing a sweet moment involving one of his young daughters. The 36-year-old Jonas Brothers star posted a photo of a handwritten note left for him by his child. The note, adorned with playful scribbles and tiny hearts, was placed next to a baked treat on a plate.
In the message, the daughter attempted to write “dad,” mistakenly adding an extra “a,” before concluding with a heartfelt “I LOVE YOU” in capital letters. Jonas, who shares two daughters, Willa, 5, and Delphine, 3, with his ex-wife Sophie Turner, has generally kept his family life out of the spotlight.
Since becoming a father in 2020, the singer has openly discussed how raising daughters has transformed his outlook. During a podcast appearance with his brothers Nick and Kevin Jonas on Amy Poehler’s show, he reflected on the contrasts between raising girls and growing up with three brothers. “Boys are so different than girls,” he remarked, adding, “I’ll watch my kids on the playground and it’s, like, delicate. And then this kid will be like, ‘Ahh!’ And dive off the top of the slide. And you’re just like, ‘That is a boy.’”
In a significant development, despite their widely publicized separation, Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas continue to maintain a strong co-parenting relationship. He has previously praised Turner as an “incredible mom” and expressed appreciation for the cooperative partnership they share in raising their children.
