Video of Aerial Firing at Karachi Farmhouse with MPA Liaquat Askani Sparks Outrage

A video capturing intense aerial gunfire at a private farmhouse in Karachi, involving PPP District Keamari president and MPA Liaquat Askani, has rapidly circulated on social media platforms. The footage reveals a blatant breach of legal norms, with participants discharging firearms into the air despite the presence of police officers at the scene.

The viral clip shows Liaquat Askani and his associates enjoying a picnic accompanied by music. During the event, the MPA is seen diving into a swimming pool while his supporters celebrate by firing automatic weapons skyward. Throughout the video, Askani continues swimming as the celebratory gunfire persists, with individuals taking turns to shoot as ammunition runs out, maintaining the prolonged barrage.

Notably, a police vehicle and armed personnel were stationed at the farmhouse, yet no intervention occurred to halt the unlawful firing. Multiple videos from the gathering were reportedly shared by attendees, although the official page of the MPA posted only footage that excluded the firing scenes.

Police officials remarked that such incidents typically result in prompt case registrations, often including charges of attempted murder. However, despite the involvement of a prominent political figure and the evident presence of law enforcement, no legal proceedings have been initiated in this case to date.
