In a detailed briefing on the security situation in Balochistan, Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Director General Lt Gen Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry provided an update on a series of violent incidents that have unfolded in the region over the past four days. He highlighted that three significant terrorist attacks had taken place, underscoring the ongoing challenges faced by security forces in maintaining stability.

the military spokesperson, the first major attack occurred during the night of July 4-5 in Hanna Urak, where terrorists backed by India launched an assault on the local civilian population. The residents of Hanna Urak responded with remarkable courage, managing to repel the attackers who are affiliated with the Indian proxy group Fitna al-Khawarij. Despite the valiant defense, the attack resulted in the martyrdom of four civilians and injuries to six others.

Lt Gen Chaudhry further revealed that in the course of counterterrorism operations following these incidents, security forces successfully neutralized 54 terrorists linked to Indian support networks. However, these operations came at a significant cost, with 42 security personnel martyred while defending the region. The ongoing conflict highlights the persistent threat posed by external elements attempting to destabilize Balochistan.

Meanwhile, the military continues to intensify efforts to secure the area and prevent further attacks. The situation remains fluid, with authorities closely monitoring developments and working to restore peace and security for the local population. Additional details are expected as the story evolves.
