Rawalpindi police have successfully detained three more inmates who had fled custody earlier this week, increasing the total number of recaptured escapees to seven. This development comes after a dramatic escape involving 14 under-trial prisoners on Monday.
The incident occurred near Sihala when the prisoners, who were being transported back to Adiala Jail following a routine court appearance in Kahuta, allegedly threw chilli powder at the police officers escorting them.
