A post-mortem examination of nine-year-old Hania Adeel, who died during an alleged encounter involving the Counter Crime Department (CCD), has confirmed that the child succumbed to multiple gunshot wounds. The medico-legal findings indicate that severe internal and external hemorrhaging caused her death.
Medical experts explained that the extensive blood loss resulted in the failure of Hania’s heart and lungs. All injuries were determined to have been inflicted before death, with the time between the gunshot wounds and her passing described as extremely short and nearly instantaneous.
The post-mortem report detailed the presence of 11 distinct injury marks consistent with bullet wounds on her body. Additionally, a metallic bullet fragment was recovered and handed over to investigators for forensic examination.
Significant injuries included a severe fracture to the right femur and critical damage to the right lung, which led to blood accumulating in the chest cavity. Further trauma was observed on the liver, as well as both the large and small intestines.
Hospital officials confirmed that Hania’s blood-stained clothing, X-ray images, and other medico-legal evidence have been submitted to the police to aid in the ongoing investigation. The post-mortem was conducted six to eight hours after her death as authorities continue to scrutinize the circumstances surrounding the incident.
