The Higher Education Department, Archives and Libraries of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has declared the summer vacation timetable for universities and colleges throughout the province. An official notification has outlined the holiday periods for institutions categorized under summer and winter zones.

Institutions in the summer zone will observe their summer break starting from June 15 until August 31. Meanwhile, those situated in the winter zone will have their vacation from July 1 to July 31. This schedule applies uniformly to all public and private universities, colleges, and higher education institutions within the province.

The notification emphasized that the vacation timeline is mandatory for all higher education institutions regardless of their administrative classification. However, the ongoing four-year BS programs will continue to follow their existing academic calendars to ensure uninterrupted academic progress for students.

In a significant development, the department confirmed that all examinations and practical assessments will proceed as originally scheduled, without any changes due to the summer holidays. The department stressed the importance of maintaining academic continuity and examination discipline throughout the vacation period across all institutions.
