In a tragic incident in Taxila’s Mohalla Mashriq Abadi, a man identified as Najeebullah is accused of killing three family members in what is believed to be an honour-related crime. The victims included his wife, Gul Seema, aged 40, their son Danish Akram, 26, and his sister Shehla Aziz, 23.
Authorities reported that Najeebullah allegedly slit the throats of the three victims using a sharp weapon. Police arrived promptly after receiving the report, secured the scene, and collected evidence to begin a thorough investigation. The bodies were transported to a hospital to complete legal procedures.
Following the killings, the suspect fled the location, and police are actively searching for him. Early indications suggest the motive may be linked to suspicions the suspect held against his wife, though officials emphasized that the exact reasons will be clarified once the investigation concludes.
A formal case has been registered at the local police station, with inquiries ongoing to uncover all details surrounding the incident.
