The Board of Intermediate Education Karachi (BIEK) has officially declared the schedule for the 2026 annual intermediate examinations. The first phase is set to begin on April 29, as confirmed by Ghulam Hussain Lakho, Chairman of BIEK.

Admit cards for private candidates have already been dispatched to their home addresses. Candidates who have yet to receive their admit cards are instructed to visit the board office on April 27. They should bring their fee receipt, registration card, or matriculation mark sheet to collect the necessary documents.

In a significant development, the chairman assured that all preparations for the Science groups, including Pre-Medical and Pre-Engineering, as well as the General Group, have been completed. Furthermore, arrangements for Arts (Regular) and Home Economics candidates are also finalized. The board has taken comprehensive measures to ensure the examinations are conducted transparently and efficiently.

Meanwhile, the Board of Secondary Education Karachi recently revised the schedule for the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) examinations, which commenced on April 10. Initially, SSC exams were planned to run from April 7 to May 2 across Karachi Division. However, the dates were adjusted due to challenges encountered during the transition from a manual to a digital system.
