Justin Bieber Earns High Praise from Lizzo After Coachella Performance

Lizzo expressed admiration for Justin Bieber following his remarkable performance at Coachella, describing the show as both “beautiful” and “transcendent.” The Canadian pop icon made a much-anticipated return to the festival stage over the weekend, delivering a vibrant and nostalgic set featuring some of his biggest hits, including “Baby” and “Never Say Never.”

The performance was further elevated by guest appearances from artists such as The Kid Laroi, Wizkid, Tems, and Dijon, adding dynamic layers to the show. Among the audience was Lizzo herself, who later shared an emotional reflection on Instagram about witnessing Bieber’s artistic evolution.

She wrote about watching a pop star who grew up in the public eye fully transcend into his artistry, giving his all and finally nourishing himself. Lizzo also posted a photo of Bieber standing in front of a projection of one of his early YouTube videos, underscoring the journey he has taken.

In her message, Lizzo noted, “When you use your gift for God, it will make people uncomfortable. But that’s OK because the ones who stick beside you will feel the love.” She concluded by thanking Bieber with a heartfelt mention.

While Justin Bieber has not yet publicly responded to Lizzo’s tribute, his wife, Hailey Bieber, showed her support by commenting with heart emojis on the post. This appearance at Coachella comes as Lizzo prepares to embark on a new musical phase, having recently completed work on her fifth studio album, Love in Real Life.
