On Friday, the twin cities of Rawalpindi and Islamabad experienced a significant weather event marked by heavy rainfall accompanied by hail. This sudden change brought a refreshing drop in temperature, transforming the atmosphere into a cool and pleasant environment after what had been warmer conditions.

In Rawalpindi, the intensity of the downpour was especially notable in areas like Garja Road, where residents witnessed hailstones falling alongside the rain. This unusual combination of precipitation created striking scenes and added to the dramatic nature of the weather shift. The hailstorm, coupled with the heavy rain, led to wet and slippery surfaces, raising concerns about road safety.

Meanwhile, Islamabad also saw moderate rainfall mixed with hail across various sectors of the city. The wet conditions affected daily activities, prompting local authorities to issue warnings urging drivers and pedestrians to exercise caution while navigating the slick streets. The weather disruption briefly altered the routine of many residents, highlighting the impact of sudden climatic changes in urban areas.

Notably, the unusual weather event captured the attention of the local population, who actively shared photos and videos on social media platforms, documenting the hail and rain. This widespread public interest underscored the rarity and visual appeal of the storm, making it a memorable occurrence for the communities of Rawalpindi and Islamabad.
