The National Database Registration Authority (NADRA) has published a detailed list of more than 3,000 e-sahulat franchise centers established throughout Pakistan to provide convenient services to the public. This list also includes information about the respective franchise owners.
These franchises facilitate a range of services, including the issuance of computerized national identity cards (CNICs), renewal of expired or lost CNICs, and other related functions. Additionally, parents can obtain B-forms, which serve as birth certificates for children under the age of 10. The centers also handle the cancellation of CNICs belonging to deceased individuals.
In a significant development, NADRA officials highlighted that residents of remote and underserved areas will no longer need to travel to NADRA offices, as these franchises will provide all necessary services locally. This initiative is expected to save citizens both time and travel expenses.
Meanwhile, NADRA has issued a caution to the public regarding fraudulent websites that impersonate official NADRA portals in an attempt to steal personal data. The authority urged citizens to verify the authenticity of websites before submitting any sensitive information.
Notably, NADRA clarified that the Government of Pakistan’s online visa application service is accessible exclusively through its official portal at https://visa.nadra.gov.pk. The authority emphasized that it has no affiliation with any other websites claiming to offer visa services.
Furthermore, NADRA warned that the government will not be liable for any misuse of personal information or financial losses incurred through transactions on unauthorized websites. Citizens are advised to remain vigilant to protect their data and avoid falling victim to scams.
