The Multan Sultans won the toss and decided to bowl first in their Pakistan Super League encounter against the Quetta Gladiators, marking the 13th match of the tournament. The game is currently in progress.

At the time of reporting, the Quetta Gladiators had reached 68 runs for the loss of two wickets after 8.4 overs. Saud Shakeel and Hassan Nawaz were anchoring the innings, providing stability to the batting side.

Saud Shakeel, who leads the Gladiators as captain, was unbeaten on 35 runs from 21 balls, while Hassan Nawaz contributed 19 runs off 20 deliveries. Earlier in the innings, Khawaja Nafay and Shamyl Hussain were dismissed cheaply for 12 and 2 runs, respectively.

The bowling attack of Multan Sultans has been disciplined, with Mohammad Nawaz securing a crucial wicket and Ashton Turner playing a significant role in the early breakthroughs for the Gladiators.

Currently, the live win probability slightly favors the Multan Sultans at 57 percent. However, with Saud Shakeel still at the crease, the Gladiators remain well-positioned for a competitive response.

Quetta’s batting lineup still has several key players yet to bat, including Rilee Rossouw, Bevon Jacobs, Tom Curran, Ahmed Daniyal, Alzarri Joseph, Abrar Ahmed, and Usman Tariq, setting the stage for an intriguing contest ahead.
