Legendary Indian playback singer Asha Bhosle passed away at the age of 92 in Mumbai, her family confirmed on Sunday. Her son Anand Bhosle announced that she died earlier that day, with final rites scheduled for the following Monday in the city.
Medical officials at Breach Candy Hospital reported that the veteran artist succumbed to multi-organ failure. She had been admitted on Saturday evening after experiencing severe fatigue and a chest infection, as per hospital updates.
