Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif engaged in a significant telephone conversation with Iranian President Dr. Masoud Pezeshkian, during which he extended heartfelt greetings to both the Iranian leader and the people of Iran on the auspicious occasions of Eid-ul-Fitr and Nowruz. This exchange underscored the enduring brotherly ties between Pakistan and Iran, reflecting a mutual respect rooted in shared cultural and religious traditions.

In response, President Pezeshkian warmly reciprocated the Prime Minister’s sentiments, conveying his sincere best wishes for the well-being and prosperity of the Pakistani nation. The cordial exchange highlighted the importance both countries place on maintaining strong diplomatic relations and fostering goodwill between their peoples.

During the conversation, Prime Minister Sharif expressed Pakistan’s unwavering solidarity with the resilient Iranian population amid the ongoing challenges and tensions affecting the region. He conveyed deep sorrow over the tragic loss of lives and extended prayers for the swift recovery and safety of those injured or otherwise impacted by recent events. This empathetic stance reflects Pakistan’s commitment to supporting its neighbor during difficult times.
