Karachi Intermediate Board Extends Deadline for 2026 Exam Form Submissions

The Karachi Intermediate Board has announced an extension for the submission deadline of exam forms for the upcoming Inter Part-II examinations scheduled for 2026. The new cutoff date for students to submit their forms has been set for March 24, providing additional time for candidates to complete their registration process. This extension aims to accommodate students who may have faced difficulties meeting the original deadline.

In addition to the extended deadline, the board has introduced a provision allowing students to submit their exam forms after the deadline by paying a late fee of Rs1000. This move is intended to offer flexibility to those who might have missed the deadline due to unforeseen circumstances. It is important to note that this late submission option is available to all candidates, including fresh applicants as well as those who have previously failed.

Special facilitation measures have also been put in place for students enrolled in private colleges and higher secondary schools. These efforts are designed to ensure that all eligible candidates, regardless of their institution type, have equal access to the examination process. The extension covers a wide range of academic streams, including pre-medical, engineering, science, commerce, and arts groups, reflecting the board’s commitment to supporting diverse educational disciplines.

Furthermore, students who did not pass the supplementary exams in 2025 have been granted a renewed opportunity to register for the upcoming exams. This inclusive approach underscores the board’s dedication to providing multiple chances for students to succeed academically. However, strict instructions have been issued mandating that all exam forms must be submitted exclusively through the official online portal. The board has made it clear that manual or hard copy submissions will not be accepted under any circumstances, emphasizing the move towards digitalization and streamlined administrative processes.

This transition to an online-only submission system is expected to enhance efficiency and reduce errors associated with manual handling of exam forms. Students are encouraged to complete their registrations promptly to avoid last-minute technical issues. The Karachi Intermediate Board’s decision to extend the deadline and enforce online submissions reflects a broader trend in educational administration aimed at improving accessibility and transparency in examination procedures.
