Operation Ghazab-ul-Haq: Pakistan Airstrikes Target Key Taliban Sites in Kabul and Nangarhar

In a significant escalation of military operations, the Pakistan Air Force executed a new series of airstrikes late Sunday night under the ongoing Operation Ghazab-ul-Haq. These strikes specifically targeted several critical military installations within Kabul, the capital of Afghanistan, aiming to disrupt Taliban supply lines and operational capabilities. The offensive marks a continuation of Pakistan’s efforts to dismantle militant infrastructure across the region.

The recent wave of air raids focused on a major ammunition storage facility along with other strategically important sites scattered across two key districts of Kabul. These locations are believed to serve as hubs for military logistics and technical support systems utilized by Taliban forces. The precision of the strikes was emphasized by officials, who noted that the targeted sites were carefully selected to maximize impact on the insurgents’ operational resources.

Eyewitnesses from various parts of Kabul reported hearing powerful explosions that lit up the night sky, followed by towering columns of fire emanating from the targeted areas. Security personnel highlighted that the intensity of the blasts, coupled with a series of secondary detonations, strongly indicated the presence of a substantial stockpile of explosives and munitions at the primary ammunition depot. This suggests that the airstrikes successfully hit their intended marks, dealing a significant blow to Taliban armament reserves.

Despite these developments, Taliban spokesperson Zabihullah Mujahid vehemently denied the claims of military targeting, accusing the Pakistan Air Force of striking civilian infrastructure instead. However, security officials firmly rejected these allegations, describing them as unfounded and misleading. They reiterated that the operation exclusively focused on military-related facilities, aiming to weaken the insurgents’ capacity to wage conflict.

Beyond Kabul, the operation extended to the eastern Afghan province of Nangarhar, where additional airstrikes reportedly destroyed further logistical and ammunition storage sites linked to militant groups. This broader geographical scope underlines the comprehensive nature of Operation Ghazab-ul-Haq, which seeks to systematically dismantle the Taliban’s supply chains and disrupt their operational networks across multiple fronts.

Authorities have yet to disclose official casualty figures resulting from these airstrikes, and independent verification remains challenging due to limited access to the affected areas. Nonetheless, security that Operation Ghazab-ul-Haq will persist until its strategic goals are fully achieved, signaling the likelihood of continued military actions in the near future. This ongoing campaign reflects Pakistan’s intensified commitment to countering insurgent threats and stabilizing the region.
