Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif voiced his strong condemnation of the recent violent attacks targeting the allied nations of Türkiye and Azerbaijan, underscoring Pakistan’s unwavering support for both countries during this turbulent period. Speaking on Thursday, the premier highlighted the gravity of these incidents, describing them as deeply troubling and unacceptable acts that threaten to destabilize the broader region.

In a series of statements shared on the social media platform X, the Prime Minister expressed heartfelt solidarity with the people of Türkiye and Azerbaijan, whom he referred to as Pakistan’s “brave brothers and sisters.” He conveyed the collective concern of the Pakistani nation, standing shoulder to shoulder with those affected by the violence. His remarks reflected a broader commitment to fostering peace and security among neighboring states that share historical, cultural, and strategic ties with Pakistan.

Shehbaz Sharif emphasized that such reprehensible assaults not only risk escalating tensions but also jeopardize the fragile peace and stability that the region has been striving to maintain. He warned that continued aggression could have far-reaching consequences, potentially igniting further conflict and undermining diplomatic efforts aimed at reconciliation and cooperation.

Turning his attention specifically to Azerbaijan, the Prime Minister reiterated Pakistan’s firm stance against the recent attacks on this close ally. He praised the resilience of Azerbaijan’s leadership and people, reaffirming Pakistan’s solidarity in condemning actions that threaten to disrupt regional harmony. His statements called for a united front against violence and stressed the importance of safeguarding sovereignty and territorial integrity.

In closing, the Prime Minister appealed for maximum restraint from all parties involved, advocating for dialogue and diplomatic engagement as the only viable paths toward resolving disputes. He underscored the necessity of respecting international norms and the sovereignty of nations to ensure lasting peace and stability in this geopolitically sensitive area. His message reflected Pakistan’s ongoing dedication to playing a constructive role in regional affairs and supporting peaceful coexistence among neighboring countries.
