    Maulana Fazlur Rehman Visits Iranian Embassy to Offer Condolences on Supreme Leader’s Martyrdom

    Maulana Fazlur Rehman, the prominent leader of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazal (JUI-F), paid a solemn visit to the Iranian Embassy in Islamabad today. During this important meeting, he was warmly received by the Iranian Ambassador to Pakistan, Mr. Reza Amiri Moghaddam. The visit was arranged as a heartfelt gesture of solidarity following the tragic martyrdom of Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, a figure revered by many across the Muslim world.

    Upon arriving at the embassy, Maulana Fazlur Rehman expressed his profound grief and extended his condolences over the loss of the Supreme Leader. He personally signed the condolence book, stating, “We are deeply saddened by the martyrdom of the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Republic of Iran.” His words reflected not only personal sorrow but also the collective mourning felt by many Pakistanis who hold Ayatollah Khamenei in high esteem.

    During the meeting, Maulana Fazlur Rehman underscored the critical importance of unity among the Muslim Ummah, especially during such turbulent times. He stressed that the Muslim world must come together to confront the challenges it faces, emphasizing that solidarity is essential to overcoming adversity.     In response, Ambassador Reza Amiri Moghaddam expressed sincere appreciation for the visit, acknowledging the comfort and reassurance it brought to the Iranian diplomatic mission during this difficult period. The ambassador’s gratitude highlighted the close and respectful relationship between Pakistan and Iran, which continues to be strengthened through such diplomatic exchanges.
