Pakistan Embassy in UAE Launches 24/7 Helpline Amid Regional Tensions

The Embassy of Pakistan in Abu Dhabi has established a dedicated 24-hour emergency helpline to support Pakistani nationals residing in the United Arab Emirates, responding proactively to the escalating geopolitical tensions involving Iran, Israel, and the United States. This move aims to ensure the safety and well-being of the Pakistani community living across the UAE during this uncertain period.

In an official advisory circulated to the Pakistani diaspora, the embassy emphasized the importance of maintaining close communication with diplomatic representatives. It encouraged all Pakistanis in the UAE to promptly contact the emergency helpline if they encounter any difficulties or require urgent assistance. To facilitate this, the embassy has disseminated multiple contact numbers, ensuring accessibility for Pakistanis throughout the country.

Simultaneously, the Consulate General of Pakistan in Dubai has also activated its own emergency helpline services. The consulate has appealed to the Pakistani community to reach out without hesitation should they face any challenges or emergencies. This coordinated effort between the embassy and consulate reflects the government’s commitment to providing timely support and guidance to its citizens abroad amid the dynamic regional developments.

Furthermore, the embassy has advised Pakistanis to exercise caution and stay vigilant as the situation in the region continues to evolve rapidly. It has urged the community to remain in regular contact with diplomatic missions to receive updates and instructions that could be vital for their safety. This advisory underscores the embassy’s role in monitoring the situation closely and being prepared to respond to any emergencies that may arise.

In addition to these measures, the embassy has reached out to Pakistani nationals who are currently stranded in transit at various airports due to the ongoing regional circumstances. These individuals have been requested to urgently complete a specially designed form. This will enable the embassy to coordinate effectively with airlines and relevant authorities to provide necessary assistance and facilitate their onward travel or safe return.

It is important to note that Pakistanis permanently residing in the UAE are not required to fill out the emergency transit form. Instead, they are asked to participate in a general survey aimed at gathering comprehensive information about the community’s status and needs. The data collected through this survey will assist diplomatic missions in assessing the overall situation and planning appropriate support measures to safeguard the interests of Pakistani nationals living in the UAE.

These proactive steps by Pakistan’s diplomatic missions in the UAE highlight the government’s dedication to protecting its citizens abroad, especially during times of regional instability. The establishment of continuous helpline services and the issuance of clear advisories are crucial in ensuring that Pakistanis in the UAE have reliable access to help and information whenever needed.
