    Pakistan Issues Urgent Advisory for Nationals in Iran Amid Rising Middle East Tensions

    The Government of Pakistan has issued a critical advisory urging all Pakistani nationals currently living in Iran to exercise heightened caution due to escalating military tensions in the region. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has strongly recommended that citizens avoid any non-essential travel to Iran until the security situation stabilizes. This advisory comes amid a sudden surge in hostilities following a coordinated military campaign launched by Israel and the United States targeting multiple Iranian locations.

    In recent days, the Middle East has witnessed a sharp deterioration in security conditions, marked by a series of intense airstrikes against Iran. These operations, initiated on a Saturday, have targeted key urban centers including Tehran, Isfahan, Qom, Karaj, and Kermanshah. The scale and precision of these attacks represent a significant escalation in the ongoing conflict, which had already seen intermittent clashes earlier this year during a twelve-day aerial confrontation in June.

    Amid these developments, Pakistan’s Foreign Office has emphasized the importance of vigilance for its nationals residing in Iran. Citizens have been advised to limit their movements to only essential activities and to maintain regular contact with Pakistani diplomatic missions stationed across Iran. The advisory highlights the fluid nature of the security environment, urging Pakistanis to stay informed and prepared for any sudden changes that might affect their safety.

    The joint military operation by Israel and the United States was described by Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz as a preemptive measure aimed at neutralizing threats against Israel. The strikes have reportedly caused significant damage to strategic sites, including the office of Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. Although the Supreme Leader was not present in Tehran at the time of the attack, Iranian authorities have confirmed that he has been moved to a secure, undisclosed location to ensure his safety.

    This latest wave of military action has heightened fears of a broader regional conflict, with international observers closely monitoring the situation. The Pakistani government’s swift response in issuing travel warnings underscores its commitment to protecting its citizens abroad amid these volatile circumstances. Meanwhile, diplomatic channels remain active as efforts to de-escalate tensions continue behind the scenes.

    As the situation unfolds, Pakistanis in Iran are urged to stay alert, follow official guidance, and prioritize their personal safety. The Foreign Office has assured that it will continue to provide updates and support to its nationals during this uncertain period.
