In a firm declaration of Pakistan’s stance on regional security, PTI Chairman Barrister Gohar Ali Khan has vowed a robust and unwavering response to recent provocations emanating from Afghanistan. Speaking from Islamabad, he reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to pursuing peaceful relations with its neighbors whenever feasible but stressed that the country would not hesitate to confront any threats that jeopardize its sovereignty and territorial integrity.
Gohar Ali Khan conveyed his message through a post on the social media platform X, where he expressed heartfelt prayers for the safety and security of Pakistan. He underscored that any hostile actions against the nation would be met with decisive and forceful measures. His statement carried a tone of resolve, emphasizing that those who challenge Pakistan’s peace and stability will ultimately face defeat. The chairman also highlighted the critical role of the Pakistan Armed Forces, praising their dedication and effectiveness in defending the country under the ongoing Operation Ghazab-ul-Haq.
Operation Ghazab-ul-Haq, launched as a counter-offensive against cross-border attacks, has seen significant success military reports. The armed forces claim to have neutralized 133 Afghan militants and inflicted injuries on over 200 others. In addition to these casualties, the operation has reportedly resulted in the destruction of 27 enemy posts and the capture of seven strategic positions along the border. The military’s efforts have also led to the elimination of more than 50 armored vehicles, including tanks, artillery guns, and armored personnel carriers, severely weakening the adversary’s operational capabilities.
Meanwhile, the PTI chairman also mentioned that former Prime Minister Imran Khan and his family are being kept informed about the developments on a minute-by-minute basis, reflecting the gravity of the situation and the high-level attention it demands.
