Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has issued a strong condemnation of the recent attack launched by the Afghan Taliban regime along the Pakistan-Afghanistan border. She expressed deep appreciation for the Pakistani military’s rapid and forceful retaliation, which effectively thwarted the aggression. In a statement, Maryam Nawaz paid tribute to the bravery and professionalism of the armed forces, highlighting their crucial role in defending the country’s sovereignty.

She remarked that the Pakistani army’s response was not only swift but also decisive, sending a clear message to the attackers that any violation of Pakistan’s territorial integrity will be met with overwhelming resistance. The Chief Minister referred to the attackers as “Khawarij,” a term historically used to describe rebellious and extremist elements, and asserted that these groups, along with their supporters and handlers, have faced humiliation before and will continue to do so whenever they threaten Pakistan’s peace and security.

Maryam Nawaz emphasized that the soil of Pakistan stands united and resilient against any form of aggression. She underscored the inviolability of Pakistan’s geographical boundaries, declaring them as non-negotiable red lines. her, anyone daring to cross these lines will inevitably face disgrace and defeat. This stance reflects the broader national sentiment that the country’s borders are sacrosanct and must be defended at all costs.

Furthermore, the Chief Minister highlighted the collective spirit of the Pakistani people and the armed forces, describing the entire nation and every soldier as guardians of Pakistan’s honor and dignity. She warned those who misinterpret Pakistan’s peaceful disposition as a sign of weakness that they are gravely mistaken. The message was clear: Pakistan is prepared to make any sacrifice to protect its land and sovereignty.

In a powerful closing statement, Maryam Nawaz declared, “We may face destruction, but we will never allow the sanctity of our beloved homeland to be compromised.” Her remarks resonate with a strong sense of patriotism and resolve, reinforcing the government’s commitment to safeguarding the country against external threats. This incident at the border serves as a reminder of the ongoing challenges Pakistan faces in maintaining its security and the vital role played by its armed forces in ensuring peace and stability.
