Pakistan Army, Frontier Corps (FC) Balochistan, and police forces have intensified their joint Operation Shaban across Balochistan, eliminating four additional militants in the latest coordinated efforts. This brings the total number of militants killed in the operation to 83.
The operation is being conducted simultaneously at multiple locations, with security forces applying continuous pressure through a combination of aerial strikes and ground maneuvers. Since July 5, a cumulative total of 121 militants have been neutralized during Operation Shaban and other security campaigns across various parts of Balochistan.
Security officials confirm that both air and ground operations are ongoing as part of a comprehensive campaign aimed at eradicating armed insurgents from the province. This recent activity is a component of a wider counterterrorism initiative launched earlier this month.
Authorities have emphasized that Operation Shaban will persist until every militant threat in the region has been completely eliminated.
In a significant development last week in Ziarat, the military disclosed that 42 security personnel and civilians lost their lives amid recent violence. The casualties included 27 Balochistan police officers, 11 army personnel, and four civilians.
