Six Terrorists Eliminated in CTD Operation in Lower Dir

In a significant development, the Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) conducted a successful operation in Lower Dir, resulting in the elimination of six terrorists. This action reflects ongoing efforts to dismantle militant networks operating in the region, which has faced security challenges due to insurgent activities. The operation was part of a broader strategy to restore peace and stability in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province.

Lower Dir has been a hotspot for militant groups attempting to establish footholds, impacting local communities and hindering development. The CTD’s intervention demonstrates the government’s commitment to combating terrorism and safeguarding citizens from extremist threats. Such operations are crucial in disrupting the planning and execution of attacks that threaten national security.

Meanwhile, security forces continue to maintain vigilance across the region to prevent any resurgence of terrorist activities. The elimination of these six terrorists is expected to weaken militant capabilities and boost morale among law enforcement agencies. This success also sends a strong message to insurgents that counterterrorism efforts will persist until peace is fully restored.
