Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has announced that Pakistan is closer than ever to finalizing a peace agreement between Iran and the United States, with the signing anticipated within the next 24 hours. He expressed confidence that the deal would be electronically signed immediately after completion.

Following the signing, technical-level discussions are scheduled to take place next week to address further details and implementation aspects. This marks a crucial advancement in diplomatic efforts aimed at stabilizing regional relations and enhancing cooperation among the involved parties.

PM Sharif extended his gratitude to both the United States and the Islamic Republic of Iran for their ongoing roles in facilitating the negotiations. He also acknowledged the support from regional partners, referring to them as Pakistan’s “brothers in the region,” whose contributions have been invaluable throughout the process.

Expressing optimism, Sharif highlighted that the forthcoming agreement is expected to establish a foundation for enduring peace in the region. The government confirmed in an official statement that more information will be released following the completion of the signing process.

In a significant development, these diplomatic advances reflect a concerted effort to foster stability and cooperation in a historically complex geopolitical landscape. The continuation of talks at the technical level next week will further solidify the framework for this emerging peace accord.
