    Pakistan and Iran Strengthen Regional Stability Commitment in Bishkek Talks

    Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi held a significant meeting with Iranian Interior Minister Eskandar Momeni in Tajikistan on Friday, focusing on issues of mutual concern, particularly border security and regional stability.

    During their discussions, the ministers explored ways to bolster security collaboration along the Pakistan-Iran border. They emphasized the importance of improving border management systems, combating illegal cross-border activities, and addressing the broader security challenges in the region through strengthened coordination among relevant authorities.

    In a notable development, both officials reiterated their dedication to expanding cooperation in internal security matters and enhancing coordination between their law enforcement agencies. Mohsin Naqvi highlighted Pakistan’s strong commitment to its close ties with Iran, stressing the country’s focus on fostering peace, stability, and mutual cooperation within the region.

    Meanwhile, Eskandar Momeni emphasized the necessity of deepening bilateral security cooperation to effectively confront shared challenges. Both sides agreed to maintain close communication and continue joint efforts aimed at improving law and order in border areas while addressing common security concerns.
