A new period of unstable weather is anticipated to affect various regions across Pakistan, with authorities alerting the public to expect thunderstorms, strong winds, and potential hailstorms over the next 24 hours. The National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) has raised an alert, highlighting that shifting weather patterns may lead to severe conditions in multiple parts of the country.

Officials have urged residents to stay cautious, especially in areas vulnerable to intense winds and hail. In Punjab, strong winds and thunderstorms are predicted in districts including Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Murree, Attock, Chakwal, Talagang, Gujar Khan, Jhelum, and Sialkot.

Meanwhile, cities such as Lahore, Faisalabad, Gujranwala, Gujrat, Hafizabad, Mandi Bahauddin, Narowal, Layyah, and Sahiwal are expected to experience rain accompanied by strong winds and thundershowers, with isolated hailstorms also possible in these areas.

In the northern regions, rain and thunderstorms are forecast for parts of Gilgit-Baltistan and Azad Kashmir. Areas likely to be affected include Gilgit, Skardu, Hunza, Nagar, Ghizer, Diamer, Astore, Ghanche, Shigar, and Kharmang.

Similarly, Muzaffarabad, Neelum Valley, Bagh, Haveli, Poonch, Rawalakot, Kotli, Mirpur, and Bhimber are expected to face comparable weather conditions.

In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, several districts such as Abbottabad, Dera Ismail Khan, Bannu, Malam Jabba, and Dir are also forecast to receive rain and thunderstorms, signaling a widespread impact of this stormy spell across the country.
