The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah in Saudi Arabia has designated the Nusuk card as a crucial organizational element for the upcoming Hajj 2026 season. This card is vital for confirming pilgrims’ legal status and facilitating seamless access to the holy sites within a comprehensive system designed to enhance service efficiency and uphold the highest standards of safety and organization.
Notably, the Nusuk card will control the entry of pilgrims into Makkah and the Grand Mosque, streamline their movement between sacred locations, and assist in managing crowd density to minimize congestion. In line with the ministry’s digital transformation efforts, a digital version of the Nusuk card is now accessible via the Nusuk and Tawakkalna applications. This innovation enables pilgrims to instantly access their information and simplifies verification and access to Hajj-related services at any time.
In a significant development, the ministry clarified that the card is distributed through authorized service providers assigned to each pilgrim. It urged all pilgrims to promptly reach out to their respective companies if they have not received their Nusuk card, ensuring all necessary procedures are completed before beginning their Hajj rituals without any hindrance.
Meanwhile, the ministry emphasized its commitment to delivering a comprehensive pilgrimage experience by establishing a unified contact center dedicated to handling inquiries and feedback, alongside official digital communication channels. Pilgrims are required to carry the Nusuk card throughout the Hajj, as it serves as the primary tool for accessing services and moving within the holy sites.
The ministry affirmed that strict compliance with this requirement will significantly contribute to improving organizational quality and guaranteeing a safe, smooth, and convenient Hajj experience in 2026.
