Pakistan has dispatched a substantial relief consignment weighing 100 tonnes to support the victims of severe flooding in Nepal, announced Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar. The shipment contains essential supplies such as tents, blankets, hygiene kits, mats, and vital medicines to aid those impacted by the natural disaster.
In a statement shared on X on Sunday, the foreign minister emphasized Pakistan’s solidarity with the families affected by the floods and landslides. He expressed deep sympathy for the losses suffered and reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to stand alongside Nepal during this challenging period.
Notably, Ishaq Dar highlighted Pakistan’s readiness to extend all possible assistance to Nepal’s government and people to help them recover from the devastating aftermath. “Pakistan stands in solidarity with the Government and people of Nepal and remains ready to extend all possible support in this difficult hour,” he stated.
Meanwhile, the statement conveyed heartfelt condolences, saying, “Our thoughts and prayers are with the bereaved families and all those affected.” This humanitarian gesture underscores Pakistan’s commitment to regional cooperation and support in times of crisis.
