Chief of Defence Staff Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir has highlighted the critical need for sustained coordination among law enforcement agencies and state institutions to reinforce peace and create a stable environment conducive to ongoing economic growth and development in Balochistan.

During his visit to Quetta Garrison, Munir engaged with commanders and commanding officers of various field formations to assess the security landscape, operational readiness, and initiatives aimed at preserving peace and stability in the province. He received a detailed briefing on the current security situation and operational strategies in place.

The briefing also addressed efforts to foster lasting peace and stability, alongside institutional collaboration and support for the socio-economic progress of Balochistan. Munir underscored that the peace, prosperity, and welfare of the people in the region remain a primary focus of state efforts.

He noted that a secure and stable environment is essential to facilitate development projects, generate economic opportunities, and enhance the living standards of the province’s residents. The Chief of Defence Staff called for unified action by all relevant bodies to bolster peace and improve the well-being of Balochistan’s population.

During his visit, Munir praised the professionalism, operational preparedness, and dedication of the troops stationed in the province. He acknowledged the steadfast commitment of officers and soldiers in fulfilling their duties under challenging circumstances.

Paying tribute to the soldiers who lost their lives in service, Munir honored their sacrifices as a source of national pride and a foundation for the country’s peace and stability. He expressed confidence that the ongoing peace-building efforts in Balochistan would gain further momentum and effectiveness.

Upon arrival at Quetta Garrison, Field Marshal Munir was welcomed by the Commander of Quetta Corps, marking the beginning of his visit focused on security and development in the region.
