Chief of Defence Forces (CDF) and Chief of Army Staff, Field Marshal Asim Munir, reaffirmed on Saturday that the peace, prosperity, and welfare of Balochistan’s people remain central to the state’s priorities. His remarks came during a visit to Quetta Garrison, where he assessed the overall security situation in the province and received briefings on operational matters.
Upon arrival, the Corps Commander Quetta welcomed the CDF, who then met with formation commanders and commanding officers. These officials provided detailed updates on the security environment and ongoing operations across Balochistan.
In a significant development, discussions also covered the measures being implemented to sustain peace and stability in the region. The visit included a focus on the province’s socio-economic progress, highlighting efforts aimed at fostering development and improving living standards.
