    In a significant development, far-right Israeli Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir entered the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound in occupied East Jerusalem. This site holds immense religious importance as Islam’s third-holiest location, making any visit by controversial figures highly sensitive. Ben-Gvir was accompanied by a group of settlers and was protected by Israeli occupation forces during the visit.
