Chief of Defence Forces (CDF) and Chief of Army Staff (COAS) Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir has vowed to overcome foreign-backed hostile efforts aimed at hindering the progress of Balochistan. During a meeting with prominent figures and political leaders of the province, he emphasized that the futures of Balochistan and Pakistan are inseparably linked.

Highlighting the province’s strengths, Field Marshal Munir described Balochistan as home to talented, resilient, and patriotic people. He stressed that establishing a unified national narrative alongside lasting peace and stability is essential to unlocking the region’s economic potential. This, he noted, would attract investment and convert the province’s rich human and natural resources into real prosperity for its citizens.

Notably, the army chief pointed out the abundant talent and opportunities among Balochistan’s youth, who represent the most dynamic and hopeful segment of society. He underlined that empowering young people and enabling their contributions to national development are key to sustainable progress.

In a significant development, CDF Munir identified foreign-sponsored proxies, referred to as Fitna al-Khawarij and Fitna al-Hindustan, as instruments used by hostile forces to destabilize Balochistan, block its development, and sow division between the state and its people. He reaffirmed that these malevolent designs will be defeated through the nation’s collective determination and a firm, decisive response from the state.

Meanwhile, the army chief praised the efforts of Balochistan’s notables and community leaders in fostering peace, enhancing social cohesion, and promoting a positive national dialogue. He called for a comprehensive approach to counter hostile propaganda, debunk false narratives, and highlight the true progress, potential, and aspirations of Balochistan and its people.

Field Marshal Munir asserted that the destiny of Balochistan lies solely in the hands of its people. In response, the assembled notables and participants reiterated their dedication to peace, development, and prosperity for both Balochistan and Pakistan. They committed to standing united with the state and armed forces against all foreign-sponsored threats to peace and stability.

The province’s leadership also expressed a strong determination to advance people-centered development, aiming for a peaceful, stable, and prosperous future for Balochistan.
