Saudi Arabia has significantly upgraded its Tawakkalna app by incorporating 40 new services, aiming to streamline various administrative and public functions. This expansion reflects the Kingdom’s ongoing commitment to digital transformation and enhancing user convenience across multiple sectors. The app, initially launched to support COVID-19 related health measures, has evolved into a comprehensive platform for government and private services.

Notably, the addition of these services will facilitate easier access to essential functions such as health records, travel permits, and other governmental procedures. This move aligns with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 initiative, which emphasizes the adoption of smart technologies to improve citizens’ quality of life and boost economic development. The enhanced app is expected to reduce bureaucratic delays and promote digital engagement among users.

In a significant development for residents and expatriates alike, the Tawakkalna app’s expanded capabilities will support more efficient interactions with public institutions. By integrating these new services, the Saudi government is reinforcing its strategy to digitize public services and foster a more connected society. This initiative is anticipated to set a benchmark for digital government services in the region.
