Security forces successfully eliminated 10 terrorists affiliated with the India-backed Fitna al-Khwarij and Fitna al-Hindustan groups and apprehended two female suicide bombers during two intelligence-driven operations in Balochistan’s Mastung and Surab districts over the past 48 hours.
These operations form part of ongoing efforts targeting the terrorist networks sponsored by India. Comprehensive joint missions are underway across various parts of Balochistan to dismantle remaining terrorist elements and their supporters.
During these missions, security personnel conducted multiple intelligence-based area clearance and targeted strikes in Surab and Mastung districts. Seven terrorists were killed in Surab, while in Mastung, three terrorists were neutralized along with the arrest of two female suicide bombers and a facilitator linked to the Indian-backed Fitna al-Hindustan faction.
Weapons, ammunition, and improvised explosive devices recovered from these terrorists were also seized by the forces. Operations to sanitize the area continue to ensure the elimination of any other Indian-sponsored terrorists present.
These counterterrorism efforts are part of the broader campaign under the vision “Azm-e-Istehkam,” approved by the Federal Apex Committee on the National Action Plan. Security forces and law enforcement agencies remain committed to eradicating foreign-sponsored terrorism from Pakistan.
In a significant development earlier this month, security forces launched Operation Shaban following a deadly attack on a police checkpost in Ziarat. This operation resulted in the killing of at least 129 militants.
Notably, three terrorist attacks in Balochistan earlier this month claimed the lives of at least 42 individuals, including security personnel and civilians, as confirmed by ISPR Director General Lt Gen Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry.
