Four Drones from Afghanistan Shot Down Over Balochistan: ISPR

Security forces in Pakistan successfully shot down four drones that reportedly entered Balochistan from Afghan territory, highlighting ongoing tensions between the two sides. The military’s media wing, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), confirmed that the drones crossed the border on June 30 and were promptly intercepted and neutralized by Pakistani forces.

In a significant development, the ISPR accused the Afghan Taliban administration of continuing to back militant activities from within Afghanistan. The statement urged Afghan authorities to halt such support and prevent their land from being exploited against Pakistan.

The military emphasized its commitment to safeguarding national sovereignty, warning that any breach would be met with a firm response. It reaffirmed that Pakistan’s armed forces remain fully prepared to defend the country’s borders against any threats.

Notably, the ISPR declared that all actions jeopardizing Pakistan’s security would be effectively countered. It also indicated that the Afghan Taliban government would face appropriate consequences for any hostile acts.

The statement further claimed that these incursions were attempts to mislead the public and stressed that any future provocations would be dealt with decisively under Operation Ghazib-lil-Haq.
