    Ishaq Dar Discusses US-Iran Deal with Japanese Foreign Minister

    Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar engaged in a telephonic discussion with his Japanese counterpart, during which both officials welcomed the recent agreement reached between the United States and Iran. They emphasized the significance of this understanding for enhancing regional stability and benefiting the broader international community.

    Both leaders highlighted that easing tensions would foster peace and improve economic predictability along critical global corridors. In a notable development, the Japanese Foreign Minister commended Pakistan’s constructive diplomatic efforts, recognizing Islamabad’s mediation as instrumental in facilitating the positive outcome.

    The Japanese side acknowledged Pakistan’s consistent and proactive diplomacy as a meaningful factor in advancing these recent developments. The conversation also underscored the mutual agreement on the necessity of maintaining close and ongoing diplomatic communication between Islamabad and Tokyo, especially given the changing regional landscape.

    Furthermore, the two ministers reaffirmed their dedication to deepening Pakistan-Japan relations across various sectors. They committed to regular consultations on shared interests and agreed to continue promoting official delegation exchanges.

    The dialogue reflected a shared determination to strengthen cooperation and sustain engagement on regional and global issues of mutual concern, reinforcing the partnership between the two nations.
