Iran Fires Missiles at Israel Amid Rising Regional Conflict

Iran has launched missile attacks targeting Israel, with the Revolutionary Guards emphasizing that Israel must cease its assaults on Lebanon. The strikes come amid escalating regional tensions, resulting in at least two fatalities and injuring 20 others following Israeli air raids on the southern suburbs of Beirut.

The Israeli military confirmed it intercepted all missiles launched from Iran so far and detected additional missile launches aimed at its territory. “The Air Force has successfully intercepted every missile fired from Iran,” the military stated in its latest briefing, while maintaining vigilant monitoring of ongoing threats.

Iranian officials framed the missile launches as a retaliatory measure against continued aggression. Mohsen Rezaei, a military adviser to Iran’s Supreme Leader, declared that Iran would not tolerate breaches of the ceasefire or attacks on Lebanon. He warned that the Islamic Republic’s response would intensify if provocations persist, stating on social media that the aggressors had received their response that night.

Meanwhile, Israel’s far-right National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir responded vehemently on social media, declaring that “Tehran must burn” shortly after the missile launches were reported.

As of now, Israeli government officials have not released an official statement addressing the recent escalation in hostilities.
