President Asif Ali Zardari, speaking at a public gathering in Moro, Sindh on Friday, emphasized the importance of collaboration among all stakeholders to reinforce state institutions, including the establishment. He highlighted the urgent need to focus on economic self-sufficiency and the modernization of agriculture to meet contemporary demands.

Zardari stressed empowering the population economically and advocated for the adoption of modern technologies in the agricultural sector. He pointed out that these steps were essential for the country’s progress and sustainability.

Addressing regional issues, the president remarked on the insufficient global attention given to the reported violence against Muslims in India. He also recalled Pakistan’s decisive response during a recent brief conflict with India, noting the downing of aircraft that, in his view, served as a wake-up call to the adversary.

In a significant development, Zardari underscored that governance and the strengthening of state institutions remain critical challenges for Pakistan. He reiterated his call for national unity to ensure the stability and resilience of the country’s institutions.

Following his address, the president met with local dignitaries and elected officials at the residence of Sindh Interior Minister Ziaul Hassan Lanjar, further discussing strategies to enhance governance and institutional strength.
