In a significant development in the fight against terrorism, security forces successfully eliminated 11 militants associated with the Indian-backed group Fitna al-Khawarij in North Waziristan. The military’s media wing confirmed that multiple militant hideouts were targeted during the operation, which led to the recovery of weapons and ammunition from the deceased insurgents.

The slain militants were reportedly involved in numerous terrorist activities, posing a serious threat to regional security. This operation forms part of a broader counter-terrorism campaign aimed at dismantling militant networks operating in the area. Meanwhile, clearance operations are still ongoing to root out any remaining militants in the region.

The military emphasized its unwavering commitment to eradicating terrorism, particularly groups supported by foreign entities. This resolve aligns with the objectives of the National Action Plan, under which the counter-terrorism efforts continue with full intensity to restore peace and stability in the region.

North Waziristan has long been a focal point for militant activity, and operations like these are crucial in disrupting terrorist infrastructure. The security forces’ persistent efforts highlight the ongoing struggle to secure the area and prevent further acts of violence that threaten both local and national security.
