    Two Suspected Robbers Injured in Police Encounter in Islamabad

    Islamabad police reported that two suspected members of a robbery gang sustained injuries during a confrontation when their accomplices opened fire on police teams. The incident took place while officers from Sabzi Mandi and Noon police stations were escorting suspects to identify and apprehend additional accomplices.

    police, armed associates concealed nearby unleashed indiscriminate gunfire on the police units in an effort to rescue the detained suspects. Despite the attack, police personnel remained unharmed thanks to bulletproof vests and other protective measures.

    However, the suspects in custody were injured by gunfire from their own accomplices. One of the wounded individuals has been identified as Suleman, an Afghan national. The injured suspects were promptly transported to a hospital for medical treatment.

    The suspects are reportedly wanted in connection with robbery, street crime, and other serious offenses. In a significant development, authorities have launched a search operation to apprehend the fleeing accomplices involved in the attack.
