Sindh Releases Guidelines for Eidul Adha 2026 Hides Collection

As Eidul Adha 2026 approaches, the Sindh government has introduced a comprehensive code of conduct regulating the collection of animal hides. This initiative aims to streamline the process, ensuring that hides are gathered in an organized and hygienic manner. The guidelines are designed to prevent illegal practices and promote transparency among traders and collectors involved in the hides market.

Notably, the code emphasizes adherence to health and safety standards to protect both workers and consumers. It also seeks to curb the black market trade by mandating proper documentation and authorized collection points. This move reflects the government’s commitment to maintaining order during one of the busiest times for livestock trading in the region.

In a significant development, these regulations are expected to impact the local economy by stabilizing prices and improving the quality of hides supplied to tanneries and other industries. Meanwhile, the enforcement of these rules will require coordination between various departments, including law enforcement and municipal authorities, to ensure compliance and address any violations promptly.
