The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has revealed the officiating team for the upcoming three-match One Day International (ODI) series between Pakistan and Australia. The series is set to take place in Rawalpindi and Lahore from May 30 to June 4.
In a significant development, former Sri Lankan cricketer Graeme Labrooy, who played nine Tests and 44 ODIs between 1986 and 1992, has been appointed as the match referee for all three matches.
The on-field umpiring panel features renowned officials from the ICC Elite Panel, including Pakistan’s Ahsan Raza, England’s Richard Kettleborough, and Sri Lanka’s Kumar Dharmasena. Their presence underscores the high standard of officiating expected in this series.
The opening ODI will be held at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium on May 30. Kumar Dharmasena will be one of the on-field umpires, alongside Pakistan’s Asif Yaqoob, who is part of the ICC Emerging Umpires Panel. Richard Kettleborough will oversee the match as the third umpire, while Faisal Khan Afridi will fulfill the role of fourth umpire.
The second ODI is scheduled for June 2 at Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium. Richard Kettleborough and Faisal Khan Afridi will take on on-field umpiring duties. Kumar Dharmasena will serve as the third umpire, and Asif Yaqoob will act as the fourth umpire for this match.
The final ODI, also at Gaddafi Stadium on June 4, will see Kumar Dharmasena and Ahsan Raza as the on-field umpires. Richard Kettleborough will be the third umpire, while Nasir Hussain, a member of the ICC International Panel of Umpires, will serve as the fourth umpire for the concluding match.
