Karachi Police Arrest Alleged Drug Dealer Anmol Pinky in Major Raid

In Karachi, law enforcement officials detained Anmol, also known as Pinky, on suspicion of involvement in drug trafficking. A recently released video captures the moment police arrived at her apartment, where Pinky herself opened the door before officers entered. The footage shows a female constable confiscating Pinky’s mobile phone immediately upon entry, followed by a thorough search of the premises.

Following her arrest, Pinky was produced before the Judicial Magistrate South court, which granted a three-day physical remand to facilitate further investigation. Authorities revealed that investigators compiled details of multiple previous cases against her related to narcotics offenses spanning recent years.

During the operation, police seized 1,540 grams of cocaine along with 6,970 grams of raw material. Officials stated that Pinky allegedly managed a drug distribution network across Karachi, with cases filed against her under the Anti-Narcotics Act between 2021 and 2024.

Initially, police were unable to obtain physical remand as the court had placed Pinky in judicial custody until May 25 in earlier hearings. However, investigators later submitted a renewed request, emphasizing the need to trace the source of the cocaine, examine her financial dealings, and verify her criminal history. The court approved this plea, allowing a three-day physical remand to support the ongoing inquiry.

Authorities confirmed that at least 14 separate cases have been registered against Pinky across various police jurisdictions in Karachi, including Defence, Darakhshan, Gizri, and Garden. Additional narcotics-related cases were also filed at Baghdadi and Boat Basin police stations.

Specifically, Darakhshan police station documented four cases against her in 2021, while Gizri police registered another four during the same year. Defence police station recorded cases in both 2021 and 2026, and Boat Basin and Baghdadi police stations filed cases in 2025. Furthermore, two more cases were registered at Garden police station just the day before her recent court appearance.

These records highlight Pinky’s status as a wanted individual in multiple drug trafficking investigations throughout Karachi. Deputy Inspector General South, Asad Raza, confirmed that the three-day physical remand was granted in connection with the case registered at Baghdadi police station. He added that authorities have begun comprehensive questioning of Pinky from various perspectives as part of the ongoing probe.
