    Three Dead, Punjab Lawmaker Injured in Toba Tek Singh Shooting

    In a violent incident that shook the Toba Tek Singh district, at least three individuals lost their lives and a provincial lawmaker sustained injuries during an armed attack at his residence. The assault took place at the home of Ayub Gadhi, a member of the Punjab Assembly, located in the Rojhana area.

    police reports, unidentified gunmen opened fire on the lawmaker’s dera, resulting in the immediate deaths of three of his associates. Ayub Gadhi himself was wounded in the attack and was promptly transported to the District Headquarters Hospital for urgent medical care. The severity of his injuries has not been disclosed.

    In response to the shooting, Punjab’s Inspector General of Police, Abdul Karim, has taken swift action by ordering a detailed report from the Regional Police Officer of Faisalabad. Authorities have confirmed that the assailants fled the scene following the attack, prompting a thorough investigation aimed at uncovering the motives behind the assault and identifying those responsible.

    This incident highlights ongoing security challenges faced by political figures in the region. Law enforcement agencies are intensifying efforts to ensure justice and prevent such violent episodes in the future, as the community awaits further updates on the investigation and the condition of the injured lawmaker.
