Jorge Martin Triumphs at French GP as Aprilia Dominates Podium

The French Grand Prix at Le Mans proved to be a landmark event for Aprilia, as Jorge Martin delivered an impressive comeback to secure victory. Starting from seventh on the grid, Martin overtook teammate Marco Bezzecchi in a gripping duel during the final three laps to claim the top spot.

This victory marked Martin’s first MotoGP win since his 2024 championship season, intensifying the riders’ championship battle by narrowing the gap to just one point behind Bezzecchi. Meanwhile, Aprilia’s success was further amplified by their satellite team, Trackhouse, with Ai Ogura finishing third, completing a historic podium sweep for the Italian manufacturer.

The weekend was also notable for the absence of reigning champion Marc Marquez, who missed the race due to a foot fracture sustained in Saturday’s sprint crash. This injury will also sideline him for the upcoming Catalan Grand Prix as he prepares for surgery, adding further unpredictability to the championship race.

For Aprilia, the French Grand Prix represented an almost flawless weekend, combining speed, tactical execution, and a dominant podium presence that significantly alters the dynamics of the title fight moving forward.
