On Saturday, Islamabad Police conducted a series of events to honor the martyrs of “Marka-e-Haq, Operation Bunyan-um-Marsoos.” Inspector General Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi led the tributes, highlighting the sacrifices and unity of Pakistan’s armed forces. He emphasized the operation’s significance as a symbol of national pride and resilience.

IG Rizvi remarked that the success of Pakistan’s forces in the Battle of Haq had become a beacon of strength for the nation. He stated, “We are the Bunyan-um-Marsoos; our lives and deaths are dedicated to Pakistan and its unity.” He praised the military for elevating the nation’s honor and described Bunyan-um-Marsoos as more than a military campaign—it represents an ideology and a way of life embodying unity and sacrifice among Pakistanis.

He further asserted that any hostile intent toward Pakistan would only strengthen the nation. Rizvi lauded the armed forces for showcasing their capabilities during the conflict and credited the military leadership for achieving what he called a historic victory. “Pakistan’s forces demonstrated their iron will in the Battle of Haq,” he said. “Under the guidance of the Field Marshal, Pakistan secured a historic success.”

The commemorative ceremonies featured tributes to the fallen heroes, patriotic displays, and messages of solidarity with the armed forces. Senior police officials and personnel participated actively, reaffirming their support for national security institutions and honoring those who sacrificed their lives for the country.

Meanwhile, in Lahore, Chief Traffic Officer Syed Abdul Rahim Shirazi conducted inspections at key locations including Wagah Border, Faisal Chowk on Mall Road, Azadi Flyover, and Greater Iqbal Park to review traffic management for the Battle of Haq-related events. Extensive traffic deployments were arranged citywide to ensure smooth movement during the commemorations.

Authorities deployed 13 Deputy Inspectors of Police, 70 sector in-charges, and over 500 traffic wardens under the supervision of divisional officers throughout Lahore. CTO Shirazi assured the public that commuters would not face traffic disruptions, affirming that all necessary measures were in place to facilitate orderly traffic flow and maintain security during the events.
