Pakistan Railways has declared that May 10 will be commemorated as “Marka-e-Haq” through a series of events held nationwide. These ceremonies are scheduled to take place at all seven divisional headquarters of the department, marking a significant observance across the country.

In a notable development, the principal event will be hosted in Rawalpindi, where Federal Minister for Railways Hanif Abbasi is set to deliver a keynote speech emphasizing the importance of the day. This event will also include the flagging off of the Green Line train, which will be specially adorned with “Marka-e-Haq” branding to symbolize the nationwide recognition of the occasion.

Meanwhile, Pakistan Railways plans to showcase themed branding at approximately 40 major railway stations throughout the country, enhancing the visibility of the event. Additional ceremonies will be conducted in major cities such as Lahore and Peshawar, with senior railway officials, including the Chairman and CEO of Pakistan Railways, supervising the arrangements at these key locations.
