Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah conducted an on-site inspection of the Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) project along University Road in Karachi. During his visit, he closely examined the ongoing construction activities and assessed the progress made so far. The BRT initiative is a key component of Karachi’s urban transport development, aiming to provide efficient and affordable public transit to millions of commuters.

In a significant development, Murad Ali Shah directed the project management team to ensure that all construction phases are completed within the stipulated timeframe. The Chief Minister underscored the importance of adhering to deadlines to minimize disruption and deliver the promised benefits to the city’s residents. The BRT system is expected to reduce traffic congestion and improve mobility across one of Karachi’s busiest corridors.

Meanwhile, the Karachi BRT project represents a major investment in the city’s infrastructure, reflecting efforts to modernize public transportation and support sustainable urban growth. Timely completion of this project is crucial for enhancing daily commutes and boosting economic activity in the region. The Chief Minister’s hands-on approach highlights the provincial government’s commitment to advancing critical infrastructure projects in Sindh’s capital.
