Islamabad: On Tuesday, Pakistan’s Army Rocket Force Command executed a successful training launch of the domestically developed Fateh-II missile system, marking a significant milestone in the country’s defense capabilities.

The missile system features cutting-edge avionics and modern navigational aids, enhancing its precision and operational efficiency. The training launch served multiple purposes, including troop training, validation of technical specifications, and performance assessment of various subsystems aimed at improving accuracy and survivability.

The event was attended by senior officials from the Strategic Plans Division, Army Rocket Force Command, and Pakistan Army, alongside scientists and engineers from strategic organizations involved in the missile’s development. The observers expressed their satisfaction with the successful execution of the training launch of the Fateh missile series.

In a significant development, the President, Prime Minister, Chief of Defence Staff, and service chiefs commended the technical expertise, dedication, and commitment of all personnel involved in the development and successful training launch of the missile system.

The military emphasized that the successful trial demonstrated confidence in the performance of the Fateh series missile systems. Pakistan’s top military leadership praised the efforts of scientists and engineers contributing to the program, underscoring the importance of indigenous development in strengthening the country’s conventional strike capabilities.

The Fateh series represents a key component of Pakistan’s strategy to enhance its missile arsenal through homegrown technology, reflecting ongoing advancements in defense technology and strategic deterrence.
